March 24, 2009 by Clay

Fenders

WE HAVE OUR WINNERS!!

UPDATE: We have decided to give away a FIFTH Fender “Road-Worn” Guitar!  To register for this on-line drawing, simply leave a comment below.

As we prep for our annual pilgrimage to Vegas for the RTNDA and NAB conventions, we thought we’d go ahead and let the secret out: Stephen Arnold Music is giving away, not just one, not two, but FOUR Fender Road Worn guitars this year!

Stop by our NAB Booth (SL10211) and register to win one of these battle-scarred beauties: a classic blonde Telecaster, a tobacco sunburst Stratocaster and more. We’ll be giving away a Fender guitar each day of the NAB convention (Monday, Tuesday & Wednesday), and another at the RTNDA convention (you can register for the latter at RTNDA’s main registration area). The drawings for NAB will be held each day at our booth at 3pm.  The RTNDA giveaway will be during Tuesday’s Happy Hour Cocktail Party on the Exhibit Floor from 3:30pm to 5:00pm.

So be sure to stop by our NAB booth and register.  You’re gonna love these guitars!

Please see Rules & Eligibility.

Oh man, I would love to win this and finally learn the guitar. My violin teacher would be proud! (Or roll over in his grave.) :-D

  6. on April 8, 2009 at 2:15 pm Don

I used to own a Telecaster, in a galaxy far, far away, or about 30 yrs ago. Would love to have another one. Nice studio picture at the top of page.

  7. on April 9, 2009 at 8:03 am Steve McEvoy

I would be interested in hearing more about your music package but I will not be at NAB!
Sure would be good to get that guitar!

  8. on April 9, 2009 at 11:49 am James

Finally a chance for some serious strings.

  9. on April 9, 2009 at 11:57 am Kirk Pennak

This is a unique way to get someone to respond to a blog… but it worked on me. ;)

  10. on April 9, 2009 at 3:16 pm David A Hollis

    • on April 9, 2009 at 6:23 pm Stephen

yeah- well, after playing – these are very cool guitars, so i’m hoping i win one back by leaving a comment on my own blog site

  11. on April 9, 2009 at 9:02 pm Ben Ralph

Steve, Do I need to go into my studio to make sure all my guitars are still there?

    • on April 13, 2009 at 7:50 pm Stephen

oops- was that your tele??- o my gosh-so sorry ben- fyi- it plays awesome. SA

  12. on April 10, 2009 at 8:27 am Scott Blum

    Stephen,

Great library of stuff. I would have checked out your music even without the guitar opportunity, but that sure would be nice to win.

I would become the hero of my thirteen year old son, in stead of the old guy who makes him mow the yard. . . .

Pick me please. My lawn will thank you.

    • on April 13, 2009 at 7:54 pm Stephen

      scott-
mowing is good because once he has the guitar- he will need an amp.. i’m hoping it’s riding mower so he can play while he works
      good luck. sa

  13. on April 10, 2009 at 9:25 am Jeff Pitner

    Thanks for the chance, friends!

    • on April 23, 2009 at 10:06 am Chad

Jeff – You really need to win one so you can add the Red Raiders melody to your sports cut.

  14. on April 10, 2009 at 9:57 am BenZ

Played acoustic for years, never had an electric, especially one as awesome as this! As age creeps in and carpal tunnel sets in, the acoustic get harder and harder to play. I’ve given up over the years, but would love to rekindle the passion for playing with a guitar like this.

  15. on April 10, 2009 at 10:38 am basset

can’t get to Vegas but I like the black one

  16. on April 10, 2009 at 6:35 pm Marc Loftus

    Hey Stephen,

I will definitely stop by the booth on Monday but didn’t want to miss my chance to win one of these very cool guitars. My NAB will be restricted to just one day this year.

    See you next week!

    Shawn

    • on April 13, 2009 at 7:56 pm Stephen

    SA (News) music ROCKS!!

  25. on April 14, 2009 at 1:06 pm Mike Smith

My son’s beginner’s model Stratocaster is gathering dust. Maybe one of these will inspire him to use those lessons I paid for.

  26. on April 14, 2009 at 1:06 pm Rob Madeo

Those guitars are awesome. I think that’s just what I need to finally be taken seriously as a musician ;)

What a terrific blog! Great writing, nice visuals, really first-rate, one of teh best I’ve seen yet. Say, you mean I can win a guitar, too, just for leaving a comment? Bonus!

  30. on April 14, 2009 at 1:11 pm Gregory Larspn

I am a Senior Producer for Starz entertainment. I won’t be at the convention (Promax instead.) I would love to be entered to win one of your guitars. Thanks. Greg

Hope you guys have a great Promax.

    L.

  35. on April 14, 2009 at 1:21 pm Dave Muscari

I’m no Scott McCloud, that’s a well known fact — however, I would certainly love to be on the receiving end of one of these guitars.

Good luck at the conferences. Joe, please keep expenses within an acceptable range this year.

  36. on April 14, 2009 at 1:22 pm Dutch

Thanks for the chance to win a Fender. Wish I could join you at NAB.

  37. on April 14, 2009 at 1:22 pm Jerome Risting

The Vault is the best – topped only by the companies customer service

  38. on April 14, 2009 at 1:23 pm Alex Trocker

Hey Stephen, thanks for the giveaway. If I win can you throw some BBQ in the case? I’ll buy you all some as well, we can all celebrate together!

I can play E7#9 all day long, ala jimi….hmmmmmmmmm ;)

    You guys are strat-tastic!

  40. on April 14, 2009 at 1:24 pm Fred

In this order I love God, my wife and kids, my dogs and Fender, beer.

Hope to have these after the drawing.

    • on April 14, 2009 at 3:48 pm Stephen

      hey fred,
just fyi- several of these “road worn” guitars look like your kids may have dropped them, then your dog may have chewed on them, and then you spilled some beer while you were jammin. 4 outta 6 ain’t bad.

      sa

  41. on April 14, 2009 at 1:25 pm Tom Benson

hopefully will get there…love the axes

  42. on April 14, 2009 at 1:26 pm Sean

  45. on April 14, 2009 at 1:34 pm Allan Snyder

One of those would be a great birthday gift for my son. Sign me up!

  46. on April 14, 2009 at 1:37 pm steve hawkins

Could my son-in-law finally think I’m cool?

    • on April 14, 2009 at 3:43 pm Stephen

      Hey Steve
hmmm… that’s tough one. but, chances are, if you turn it up real loud – he’ll be deceived into thinking you’re cool.

      good luck
      sa

  47. on April 14, 2009 at 1:40 pm Addie Ferber

    Cool giveaway! xFingersCrossedx

Ok, this would get me off my butt and into real lessons…

  50. on April 14, 2009 at 1:50 pm Kirk V

Yes it is true, my loyalty can be bought for the chance at winning a cool guitar. Please take pity on my cheap, capitalist soul…

  51. on April 14, 2009 at 1:58 pm Larry Watzman

You Guys are the best thing in the world….right up there with Cheeze Whiz!!!! Keep on Jammin and creating!

  52. on April 14, 2009 at 2:07 pm Stan

Great guitars, an old fender, like an old gibson is much better than the new stuff.

The trick is the electronics, they usually hold up as long as you don’t imitate your favorite bands of days gone by and jump on them (as we did with the old Fender Mustang….rest it’s soul)

  53. on April 14, 2009 at 2:10 pm Jeff

I’d learn to play guitar if I won that old boy!

  54. on April 14, 2009 at 2:12 pm David Magee

Well I have been wanting to get one of those bad boys. And I love and use your music selection every week. People around Redding,Ca seem to love the impact your music has with my promotional material.

    Keep up the SOLID work.
    David Magee

P.S. They have the quickest turn around time, much needed in my line of work. KRCR NEWS CHANNEL 7

  55. on April 14, 2009 at 2:23 pm Charley Johnson

Thanks for the opportunity! I have a couple of acoustic guitars and a banjo, and would love to adda fender to the collection,

  56. on April 14, 2009 at 2:29 pm Michael

Can a guitar be *censored* ? If the answer is yes, you have 5 I’d like to buy a drink…

  57. on April 14, 2009 at 2:31 pm Jimmy

I have a 1960 Strat and one of these would make good company for it!

  58. on April 14, 2009 at 2:42 pm kyle

I’ve always wanted a telecaster… Can I just like have it?

  59. on April 14, 2009 at 2:42 pm Chuck Ellis

Sounds good to me. Hope I win! :D

  60. on April 14, 2009 at 2:55 pm Patrick Young

One of those things is not like the other things, one of those things just doesn’t belong, can you guess which thing is not like the other things, before I finish my song?

Did you guess which thing is not like the other thing, did you guess which one with all your might?
If you guessed A SUITE WITH A WINDOW was not like any other suite, you know what, my friends, you would be right!

Oh wait, was I supposed to be looking at GUITARS? Well whaddya know…
One of those things is not like the others…

(nice Tele… me like Tele… me like to win Tele!)

Too silly to win, I’m sure, but wishing you the best at your upcoming road shows!

  61. on April 14, 2009 at 3:02 pm Shelly

I had an electric guitar when I was a kid. My cousin tried to teach me to play, but when I play the song he taught me for my Mom, she ditched him and the guitar. The song? “Cocaine”
Hey, I was 13…I didn’t know what it meant. Now…I haven’t picked up a guitar since and my son’s about to be off to college and I need something to do at night. I think being a rock n roll guitar hero is a good thing for a 40ish TV Mom to do, don’t you?

  62. on April 14, 2009 at 3:17 pm Pete Nikiel

Did Stephen personally wear out those guitars on the road?

  63. on April 14, 2009 at 3:42 pm Ron

Gotta have some road worn gear to go with my road worn hands. I can write the Stephen Arnold jingle with it.

And when will we see the Olson guitar giveaway?

  64. on April 14, 2009 at 4:08 pm Dennis Kellogg

My sons would be fighting for this — not sure they would win though!

  65. on April 14, 2009 at 4:25 pm Chip Miller

This is such a wonderful idea – giving hope to those financially-strapped musicians out there. Congrats to Stephen Arnold Music on a great and generous gesture. Here’s wishing myself and all the other musicians out there, lotsa luck winning one of these beauties. Peace, Chip Miller

  66. on April 14, 2009 at 4:29 pm Sue Travis Miller

Wow, would I like to win one of these as a gift to my husband. He gave up four years of his music career to nurse me back to health after I was struck by a car crossing the street. He wants so badly to return to his music but we cannot afford a guitar for him (he sold his to pay for my medical bills). Thank you for this opportunity.

  67. on April 14, 2009 at 4:42 pm Andy Glen

Thanks to you guys at Stephen Arnold Music for this opportunity …. boy I’d love to win one of these. I hope this generous promotion works for you… and me!

  68. on April 14, 2009 at 4:46 pm chris stifel

Talk about getting my attention. One of the most significant and iconic creations ever wrought from the hands of man is the Fender Stratocaster. Banged, Beaten and soaked in sweat from hundreds of gigs in the dingiest of blues joints around the world. Its a possession that mystifies and inspires to this day. I am in a freaking trance looking at those babies.
Just pick up that damn guitar and play son!
Great website. Great stock music. Great promotion. Thank you for this opportunity.

  69. on April 14, 2009 at 6:21 pm Chris Mollere

Have a great time at the conventions and best of wishes in all y’all do!

    Cheers,
    Chris

  70. on April 14, 2009 at 10:34 pm Dave Connor

    Hey Stephen & Joe-

Cool way to generate some buzz! Speaking of “buzz”, I’ll see you guys at the bar!

  71. on April 14, 2009 at 11:29 pm Gary

Everybody seems to be ’singin’ the blues’ in the news biz these days. With one of these Fenders, I’ll be playing to the sunny side of things! Thanks and good luck to all.

  72. on April 15, 2009 at 7:58 am Roger Smith

I’d love to win, maybe I could use it to play along with some of your tracks!

  73. on April 15, 2009 at 9:09 am Todd

Stephen Arnold Rocks! Thanks for this opportunity and chance to hit the road with a Fender!

  74. on April 15, 2009 at 10:27 am Mike Goldrick

Thanks in advance for the Strat! It will go well with my Tele. Sorry won’t be stopping by the booth this year, maybe 2010.

  75. on April 15, 2009 at 10:40 am Mitch Peyser

    Those guitars look great.

  76. on April 15, 2009 at 3:22 pm David Toma

    Outstanding!

  77. on April 15, 2009 at 6:08 pm Jerry Copeland

The Economy will improve in 2010! I will be there next year…Guitar would hold me over for a year!

  78. on April 15, 2009 at 8:27 pm James Hendrix

Just because I’m listing that loosers website don’t mean *censored* man. I’m still around and thats the deal. Cool? I got an audition comming up in a while cause I ain’t got no job and I sold my Martin. My wife done left my ass and the only way I’m gonna make some jack is with an Ax man… Cool? I dig that Telecaster… the Strats ain’t my gig no mo. Cool? Don’t forget I’m left handed. Cool?

    jh

  79. on April 16, 2009 at 1:04 am urs

the road worns are amazing. and i’m afraid that my local guitar store is going to start banning me from coming in and jamming with them any more.

i’m a student. with no money to buy one.

it looks like demoing it a guitar center every week will be the closest i get to owning this fine equipment.

    I HOPE MY LUCK CHANGES.

  80. on April 16, 2009 at 7:08 am PreppyPrincess.com

You guys still rock after all these years! Keep it rolling…

  81. on April 16, 2009 at 8:30 am William Kruidenier

Oh man — I could finally replace my Fender ax that had to be sold for cash after my high school garage band days. Sign me up!

  98. on April 16, 2009 at 1:39 pm Jim Turpin

Just had the debate with someone yesterday, Gibson vs. Fender vs. Rickenbacker. Pick me and Fender will be, forever, the supreme guitar being!

  99. on April 16, 2009 at 1:41 pm chris l

Great Library..wish I could register in person

  100. on April 16, 2009 at 1:48 pm Don

Sweet Strats. Good luck at NAB next wk.

  101. on April 16, 2009 at 1:59 pm Chris Huston

I’ve been trying to talk myself into buying a Telecaster for about five years. Haven’t been able to bring myself to do it. Love the Gibson-like throaty sound.

In the meantime…love our music package. I’ve been listening to it every day for nearly three years, and it still knocks me out.

Keep up the good work in tight times.

  102. on April 16, 2009 at 1:59 pm Jimmy

My old Strat (1960’s) has just about given up the ghost and I have a lot playing left to do. I hope you pick me!

  103. on April 16, 2009 at 2:04 pm Kathy

Don’t really care for blogs, but this has changed my mind. Anything for a chance to win. Kathy

  104. on April 16, 2009 at 2:06 pm Michael Riddle

Didn’t the telecaster in the middle belong to Buck Owens at one time!

Help….. I need to get plugged in and give my Martin a rest!

Keep up the good work…. you guys have the best package in the business. Sorry I won’t make it to NAB .. but I think my wife is going to let me go out to the Stagecoach Festival in California next weekend to witness the reunion of all the original members of POCO!

    mr

  105. on April 16, 2009 at 2:10 pm Richard

Thanks for the chance to win one of these… the Tele in particular would be a dream come true!

  106. on April 16, 2009 at 2:10 pm B.J.

is this where I go to register for my free guitar, uhm, I mean chance to win one….? I agree, though, giving away the only Telecaster in the house seems wrong somehow. Those are great guitars.
    B. “once a customer always a customer. J.

  107. on April 16, 2009 at 2:13 pm Dennis Leonard

    Stephen and Joe,

Since I may be one of the only GM’s who keeps his guitars and amps in his office and has the Indie Rock Music package, a road worn Fender should natuarally reside in Denver. Check out http://www.2thedeuce.com for our streaming where you can hear your package in action. M-F 5-9am; M-F 11am-12nn and M-F 7-8pm.

    Dennis

  108. on April 16, 2009 at 2:16 pm Dennis Wahlstrom

God, would I love to give this to my son, when he returns from Afghanistan. He was deployed there last year, and is expected home in June. Good luck to me. Thanx for this opportunity. George

  110. on April 16, 2009 at 3:37 pm Guitar L

    You guys are the best!

  113. on April 16, 2009 at 4:38 pm Gail

    Stephen, Joe, Clay and all,
You all are so clever! Just pull my name out, take the entire office on a roadtrip to New Orleans for Jazz Fest, bring the guitar, take it jamming on Frenchmen St., and see our sunflowers! Sorry I won’t be in LV this year. Thanks for staying in touch – Gail

  120. on April 17, 2009 at 7:59 am Scott Blum

    The Mowing Dad here,

As an old DJ, radio salesman, I don’t normally do these contest things but hey, I hate mowing my lawn. Winning this for my son would insure that my grass will look like Augusta.

Still working on that riding mower/Marshall amp combo.

  121. on April 17, 2009 at 9:39 am KB

Great contesting idea! Would love to attend but…my budget is no more…

  122. on April 17, 2009 at 11:41 am Timothy Haase

Wish I could be there in Vegas, but alas, going to NAB on the company’s dime are long gone, and I can’t afford to go on my salary.
    That guitar would soooo sweet!

  123. on April 17, 2009 at 12:18 pm Ray Lambiase

They look good even to an old folkie like me! best of luck in Vegas.
    Ray

  124. on April 17, 2009 at 12:39 pm Jerry Bever

With the way the economy is going, I may have to turn to playing guitar to make a living!

  125. on April 17, 2009 at 3:53 pm Paul Turner

    Sweeeeeet!

Would be really cool to win (since I can’t afford one ;-(

  126. on April 17, 2009 at 4:56 pm Kirk Herzbrun

I love the Road Worn Series. This is exactly why Fender guitars are the coolest thing on the planet!

  127. on April 17, 2009 at 4:57 pm Stephanie Huff

Arthur, sorry. Had trouble sending you those pennies. The postage was a killer! Have fun in Vegas!

  128. on April 17, 2009 at 7:26 pm Bill Reid

A chance for a real Road Warrior is Way too cool to pass up. Seems most posts are after the Tele (my first choice too), but a cherry neck Strat works for me. You guys Rock!

  129. on April 18, 2009 at 2:41 am Julie

You boys ROCK! Great giveaway…maybe all those hours of playing Guitar hero will pay off. LOL

  130. on April 18, 2009 at 9:53 am Dennis Nadalin

I want to be a rock star, please help.

  131. on April 18, 2009 at 11:59 am Mark Limbach

I would love to win one of those guitars! Maybe then my son could actually use his Rock Bank skills.

  132. on April 18, 2009 at 12:00 pm Mark Limbach

I actually meant Guitar Hero….I must be getting old.

  133. on April 19, 2009 at 11:52 am Derreck Whitlatch

What a cool thing you guys are doing.
Would love to get a hold of one!

  134. on April 19, 2009 at 3:41 pm jason

    hey awsome fenders
    also great idea for contest

  135. on April 20, 2009 at 8:37 am Kal Socolof

If music be the food of love, play on!

  136. on April 20, 2009 at 9:37 am Glenn Vasko

Wow, what a great promotion! You gotta love Strats and Teles!

    You got my attention.

If I win the Tele (I’ll settle for a Strat) I will tell our Music Director about you guys, deal? :)

    Hope you guys enjoy NAB!
    Glenn

  137. on April 20, 2009 at 10:17 am Mark Phillips

Would love to use one of these on the music for my latest show at A&E. Thanks for the opportunity.

  138. on April 20, 2009 at 10:27 am Paul Rourke

    I like the Blondie!

  139. on April 20, 2009 at 10:27 am Dave

I’ve always wanted a real Tele.

  140. on April 20, 2009 at 10:54 am cibo

My 16 yr old son would stop whining about getting stuck with his older brother’s Fender acoustic beginner’s guitar. He’d have to battle me for time on one of these.

  141. on April 20, 2009 at 11:29 am Jerry Bever

To Jimmy: If that old ’60’s strat is giving you too much trouble, I’d be glad to take it off your hands for you!

  142. on April 20, 2009 at 11:33 am Tom Hill

Count me in on the contest… although I feel that spiritually/aesthetically one should really have to “wear in” your own axe…

    But I won’t complain!

  143. on April 20, 2009 at 2:28 pm Steven Holbrook

Please enter me in the Fender give away. I’m a Texan stuck up here in Washington D.C. , they don’t understand Texas blues up here.

  144. on April 20, 2009 at 10:23 pm CJ Hlas

I just had my amp repaired but am without anything adequate to plug into it. The opportunity to win a Fender jumped out at me and, almost always the optimist, I’ll be hopeful for a win.

  145. on April 21, 2009 at 8:47 am Randy Roberts

Old cars or old guitars – just what all us old guys want. Great idea! Thanks.

  146. on April 21, 2009 at 11:28 am Darren Dittrich

Congrats on the blog, Stephen & Crew! Best of luck at the shows this year.

  147. on April 21, 2009 at 4:24 pm timgeraghty

Always loved seeing Stephen and crew at RTNDA. They had great afternoon receptions! Thanks for doing this.

  148. on April 21, 2009 at 4:57 pm Barry

It was fun to see the guy win the black Strat Monday at your booth. Great of you all to give the guitars away. Maybe I’ll be next.

  149. on April 21, 2009 at 5:56 pm Dave Bradley

Hooray for road worn ( and rode hard..) Engineers, musicians and oh yea…..guitars too! Old age and tretchery will always overcome youth and vigor. Is that right??? I can’t remeber so well these days….

  150. on April 22, 2009 at 8:59 am Dave Berry

Movie business is booming. See you at the megaplex . . .
    Thanks for the guitar contest.

  151. on April 22, 2009 at 10:33 am David Stegmaier

Excellent samples shown at the NAB conference!

The Guitar Contest is a great idea!

  152. on April 22, 2009 at 11:44 am Jerry Bever

Hope NAB is going well … remember to save a strat for me! Thanks again.

  153. on April 22, 2009 at 2:38 pm Tim Schroeppel

I’m responding ’cause I really want a Road Worn Strat in the worst way. Cool blog. I just bookmarked it.

  154. on April 22, 2009 at 3:25 pm David Jewell

YOU GUYS ROCK…so could I if I win.

  155. on April 22, 2009 at 3:26 pm Karen Yarbrough

  157. on April 22, 2009 at 3:27 pm Dave Baumann

Stephen…you KNOW I deserve this guitar! Make it so, #1!

    Mine. Mine. Mine.

  159. on April 22, 2009 at 3:29 pm Anthony Sutliff

so if I light it on fire, you won’t notice the difference….cool ;)

  160. on April 22, 2009 at 3:29 pm Tregg White

I quit playing guitar when I was 10. But a new guitar would sure look good in my office!

  161. on April 22, 2009 at 3:29 pm Darrel Adams

Cool contest! Thanks for the opportunity and the music.

  162. on April 22, 2009 at 3:30 pm Arun Venkatesh

  163. on April 22, 2009 at 3:30 pm pat obermeier

ok. ok you wore me down. great way to get me to go to your site…plus to listen to your cool music.

  164. on April 22, 2009 at 3:31 pm Cathy Crecelius

Cool promotional idea to get people “in the tent.”

  165. on April 22, 2009 at 3:31 pm Jimmy

I played one of the Road Worn guitars the other day in a music store. Wow, what a concept! With the economy (and other factors) these days, I hope Christmas comes early (this week)!

    Regards,
    J.

  166. on April 22, 2009 at 3:33 pm Dennis Wahlstrom

It’s no accident when you go on a Fender bender!

  167. on April 22, 2009 at 3:33 pm Steve Crabtree

Sorry I had to “ax” plans for NAB/RTNDA this year. I love the “tone” of this promotion. I’m confident there are no “strings” attached so I won’t “fret” that possibility. :-)

    • on April 22, 2009 at 4:02 pm Stephen

Steve- we should have had you write the copy!!- and yup – there are 6 strings attached. How’s everything in knoxville?

  168. on April 22, 2009 at 3:34 pm Gavin Maliska

I’m not in Vegas, although life is good in Orlando. It would be better if I had a Telecaster. Thanks for the chance.

  169. on April 22, 2009 at 3:35 pm Brian Ross

Okay…you guys got me! Who wouldn’t want to win this guitar?

And, for the record, I actually play it! So, I’d be honored to have it. :-)

    Good luck all.

  170. on April 22, 2009 at 3:36 pm James Tucker

I’ve heard it said by a National TV network that “Stephen Arnold is the best “effin” composer in the world.” Too bad they don’t have a statue for that.

  171. on April 22, 2009 at 3:37 pm Mark Baumert

Been a Stephen Arnold client for years. Love the music. We use Stravinsky here at NTV and it’s become our signature.

My only regret about not going to the RTNDA@NAB is this guitar contest and not being eligible. Now that I am eligible by leaving a blog, I am content and well on my way to complete self-actualization.

    Mark Baumert

  172. on April 22, 2009 at 3:38 pm Ron Scalera

    Sir Stephen,

    I have everything…except a road worn guitar.
Make it happen for me, mate, and I’ll make you the fifth Beatle.

    Cheers

    Macca

  173. on April 22, 2009 at 3:41 pm JT Cantwell

It’s about time I learn electric guitar. It’s really getting more difficult to lug my piano around to sessions. The baby grand, not so bad, but the 9-foot Steinway…

    • on April 22, 2009 at 3:58 pm Stephen

JT- you just need a kazoo- it fits in your front pocket

  174. on April 22, 2009 at 3:42 pm Geoff

    Great contest idea! Thanks!

  175. on April 22, 2009 at 3:52 pm Brian Paul Lubanski

What better way for my 4 year old son Josh to learn guitar than on
    A rode worn fender.

  176. on April 22, 2009 at 3:55 pm Carl Kaller

Keep up the invisible good work guys.

  177. on April 22, 2009 at 3:56 pm David Horslev

I can see it now…….Robin Meade in the studio, strumming her
“Road Worn” Fender. Morning Express theme music playing in the background. Stephen Arnold Music in its highest artform.

    • on April 23, 2009 at 10:00 am Chad

Then you’ll definitely need to win one for Robin! She can play along to the show music.

  178. on April 22, 2009 at 4:02 pm Gene

Thanks for adding the fifth guitar for the giveaway. I’d love to be included in the drawing. Have a great NAB/RTNDA!

  186. on April 22, 2009 at 4:34 pm J. Hall

  187. on April 22, 2009 at 4:42 pm Dave Dwinell

    Always inventive. Always smart.
So, if I hook up my new guitar, will the SAM sound come out of it?

Probably not. But hey, good to know that it has the vibe from being around you guys.
